Responsibilities

About you…

You’re hungry and ambitious. You’ve already conceptualised and/or created some awesome mobile applications. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and translating this into clear deliverables. But you have a clear passion for making a difference. You may have worked in a start-up or in the leisure or gaming sector and have a strong understanding of UX/UI, a desire to continually improve and a keen interest in cutting-edge tech.

You’re undaunted by a challenge. We’ll make no bones about it, this is a big job. We have some ambitious plans for a range of new disruptive applications to truly help deliver on our vision ‘to help more people to GetOutside more often’. This will take the form of multiple mobile applications with constant development and iteration. You’ll be doing this in both national and international markets.

You’re supremely organised. In fact you’re obsessively so. But you’re equally proficient in working with a creative team to stretch budgets and the realms of technology.

You’re never satisfied. Constantly striving for improvements, you have an eye for the detail that carves the difference between good and great. Change excites you and you have the gravitas to bring a team of remote working developers with you on the journey as you uncover and embrace new challenges and opportunities.

You love seeing constant progress. You’re well versed in agile delivery, and lean start-up principles, and you thrive on seeing the progress the team has made. But you equally love being able to measure progress, setting and managing KPIs alongside a relentless team of stakeholders. In short, you can smash targets and are continuously driving your products forward.

You’re a collaborative team player. You will work closely with the current product management team, ensuring the sharing of best practice, both within the consumer team and the wider business. You have great networking ability supported by credibility, integrity and character.

You love being outside. And you’ll get the opportunity to be. We try to live our brand and our mission so if you prefer the couch to conquering the hills or exploring then this role is probably not for you.
