New look unveiled.


Bridgedale has this week launched it’s new website at

Analytic tools revealed that the majority of consumers visiting were looking to access information about our product collections!  This stage 1 release is designed to provide more detailed activity orientated information for all socks Bridgedale with minimal clicks as well as enhance the user experience for the worldwide Bridgedale community. 

Steve Fowler, Bridgedale’s Managing Director says “Even with the expansion of internet sales I feel it is important that the consumer can quickly access product information and technologies and can then be guided to their local specialist stockist.  Stage two will follow very shortly and will provide a search facility by style level on a worldwide basis – a massive amount of data to be collated and double checked across our 43 international territories”.

The graphics and elements of the site have been created to closely reflect the new in-store visual merchandising and new look packaging.  As a significant move on, the new website boasts a modern, colourful design and is more consumer friendly being product selection led by either sock technology or outdoor activity.

As the relevance of social media continues to grow we have developed our own take with a new and exciting area: Kindred Spirits.  Steve also added “We receive great consumer feedback from all types of users and from all parts of the globe.  Everyone wearing Bridgedale socks is a potential Kindred Spirit; whether  an Antarctic Explorer, Himalayan Mountaineer, Alpine Climber, Ski Racer, Outdoor Celebrity, National Park Ranger or simply a walking enthusiast; all who love our brand are welcome to join in with blog and picture posts. Facebook and Twitter links are also in place for rapid communication of activities, plans and news.  The Bridgedale Team is looking forwards to receiving many uploaded photo’s and blog posts so as to keep all of us informed, amused and inspired as fellow Kindred Spirits”
