The next OIA CEOs Forum takes a seat a Westminster

The OIA invites you to the next Directors Forum on May 16th 2012 at The Palace Of Westminster, House of Commons, London.

A group of Directors and senior members of the UK Outdoor Trade are invited to meet David Rutley MP at the Houses of Parliament, Westminster on the evening of Wednesday May 16th.

We will meet at 18.45 to discuss and introduce the OIA success to date in lobbying and interacting with Government and as soon as the House rises at 19.30 we will be joined by David Rutley MP who will speak and lead discussion on Outdoor and Mountaineering and its place and opportunities in government policy today.

David is the MP for Macclesfield and the Co-Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Committee for Mountaineering and the Vice Chair of the APPG on National Parks amongst other groups. He is a keen Rock Climber and mountaineer, who enjoys climbing in his local Peak District.
Before his election to Parliament David held senior commercial roles at Asda and PepsiCo International, where he worked on e-commerce and home shopping so he brings a wealth of experience to lead our forum from many angles.
