OIA Board of Directors
Our CEO works closely with two volunteer boards, a main Board of Directors and a Development Board, which comprise of dedicated individuals from the outdoor recreation industry. They all give up their time freely for a common cause and bring many years of experience and knowledge to the OIA.
Consisting of senior industry directors, the main board’s focus is assisting with the OIA’s future direction and strategy.

The most important aspect of this work (OIA) is the impact it could have on the health of the nation. It could engage people to take part in outdoor activity, including people who might never go to the gym or walk on a football pitch but who will happily go to the park or walk up a mountain.
