With new Government Legislation coming online the CAPI group are here to help you and your business start or continue on the path to NET ZERO. There are small steps to be made which are already outlined in the Scope 1 & 2 document which was made available to members earlier this year.
The webinar which will cover an overview, and ways to prepare, for the upcoming Government Legislation that will impact everyone in this area. It’s a CALL TO ACTION for ALL COMPANIES to ensure a representative attends and engages with the CAPI Group over the next 12 months. The OIA have set this group up to help its members. ANDREW DENTON

DOM WINTER
Dom Winter is Head of Programmes at climate action charity Protect Our Winters (POW) UK. Dom advises businesses on climate action – directly, creating guides, and developing and running training including POW’s accredited Carbon Literacy Training course.
With a background leading brand sustainability, attaining certifications and ensuring legislative compliance, and a Masters in sustainable systems, Dom is part of the OIA Development Board’s Sustainability Group.

ADAM HALL
SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGIST
Adam’s love of the outdoors has guided him in career in sustainability that has spanned a decade and half, amongst almost an entire working lifetime in the action and outdoor industry.
Through his voluntary work as a trustee of POW UK and Co-founder of the North Devon World Surfing reserve, Adam understands well the need for innovative and novel approaches to climate breakdown and conservation outside of norm.

CHARLOTTE WHITMORE
A passionate, highly skilled and self-motivated CSR / Sustainability Manager with over 25 years’ experience within industry and as a Consultant(UK high street retailer / global multidisciplinary consultancy/ central government). Specific expertise in designing effective CSR / Sustainability strategies and programmes across multiple sites, delivering on time and within budget. A successful influencer at Board and CEO level, distilling complex issues and achieving buy-in together with effective decision making and delivering to clear deadlines.
Being active in the outdoors, Charlotte took opportunity its to align her career closer to the Outdoor Industry, work with the BMC for the past 4 years as a Sustainability Advisor (Vol) and helping them shape their sustainability journey and set targets to reduce their emissions.

DEBBIE READ
Having previously spent 10 years in the brewing industry in supply chain, CSR and corporate communications roles she then followed her ambition to get closer to the outdoors industry by working for the Peak District National Park Authority, developing their fundraising and communications strategy before joining Equip Outdoor Technologies in 2019 as CSR Manager.
Debbie has driven Equip’s CSR agenda to be certified as a Climate Neutral Company, and an aggressive journey to Carbon Net Zero. She and her team have recently launched Material Facts, Equip’s sustainability data tables to drive transparency and honesty around this complex area.
