OEKO-TEX® invites you to participate in the Public Stakeholder Consultation 2026, focusing on recycled textile claims and supply chain integrity.
As recycled materials play an increasingly important role in the textile industry, there is still limited consistency in how recycled content is defined, documented, verified, and communicated. This consultation seeks to gather expert perspectives on the risks, definitions, assurance approaches, and policy considerations that are essential for strengthening market integrity, traceability, and confidence in recycled textile claims.
OEKO-TEX® welcome contributions from policymakers, regulators, technical experts, academics, standards specialists, industry representatives, brands, retailers, certification bodies and civil society organisations. Your expertise will help identify priorities for the future development of OEKO-TEX® standards and services and contribute to more credible approaches to recycled textile claims.
The consultation is open until 14 September 2026.
