In partnership with Beyond Boundaries Films, Kendal Mountain Festival (KMF) is launching a brand-new initiative to support emerging filmmakers telling bold new stories through short-form cinema.

KMF is looking for pitches of original short-film projects exploring adventure, environment, nature, exploration, and human connection to the outdoors.

The prize:

Five filmmakers will be selected to pitch live at Kendal Mountain Festival in front of an international jury and festival audience.

Winner receives:

£10,000 award plus mentorship from Beyond Boundaries Films.
