His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales spent much of today in Cumbria. Part of His Royal Highness’ day was spent at Thorns Hall, marking our Centenary.
During the visit His Royal Highness met members of our Society and talked to guests who were enjoying a walking break at Thorns Hall.
His Royal Highness learned about the history and ethos of HF Holidays and the enjoyment of Britain’s countryside and coastline. His Royal Highness also heard about our partnership with other organisations including the National Trust and Ramblers as well as our involvement in the Britain on Foot campaign.
To mark the visit, The Prince of Wales was invited to cut a cake to mark our Centenary and to sign a commemorative copy of ‘The Story of HF Holidays’.
Before departing, His Royal Highness was presented with a MyBurdock and a framed photograph by one of our young members.
