UK technical clothing and equipment brand OMM available in New Zealand for the first time through Christchurch’s premier outdoor store, Further Faster.

OMM clothing and equipment have been designed in the UK for the challenging conditions and terrain mountain runners can face on the brand’s namesake race, the Original Mountain Marathon. After 55 years “The OMM” race is synonymous with the UK mountain running community.

The Original Mountain Marathon has been held at the end of October since 1968, at a different location around the UK each time. The 56th race will take place in the Lake District in October 2025. It is a navigation-based course over two days, with a self-sufficient camp in between days. It can cover up to 100 km in distance and 2200m of elevation in all kinds of autumnal UK weather!
