Corry Taylor, managing director of Bradshaw Taylor Ltd, has been co-opted onto the Outdoor Industries Association Council. Following a meeting with OIA director Louise Ramsay, Corry expressed a desire to get actively involved in the ongoing development and delivery of the association’s strategy.
During its last meeting, Council formally agreed to co-opt him with immediate effect. Louise Ramsay, OIA director, comments: “Corry is widely respected and trusted within the industry and has solid relationships with both multiple and independent retailers alike, along with many suppliers. When I met him, it was clear that he was keen to play an active role within the OIA and he will bring experience and dynamism to Council. I know that Corry will make a positive and significant contribution, and look forward to working with him on a range of projects.”
Bradshaw Taylor was founded in 1985 and currently distributes the Schoffel, Royal Robbins, Icebreaker and Keen brands in the UK, from its base in Oakham, Rutland. The business currently employs 75 staff directly and has a further 20 agents in Europe.
