Mobilising the new camping consumer to get active outdoors!
At the start of 2020, outdoor activity, especially walking and adventure sports, were on the rise. In early March, the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global pandemic. Whilst the population of the UK went into an unprecedented lockdown, even more people were waking up to the benefits of outdoor activity for their physical and mental health and wellbeing.
The OIA received a grant from Sport England to conduct valuable research and produce insights into the impact of COVID-19 and consumer behaviour in the camping market.
